I honestly think the "This user is a friend of __________" userboxes should be deleted. Our policy clearly states all userboxes are to be series-relevant. I suppose that would mean deleting the "Humorous" userboxes, but that's a different kettle of worms. The verdict? Delete the friend userboxes and their respective categories. It's not that hard for someone to just make a friends list or a colorful little table displaying friends like mine. That's how I feel, anyways. - EternalNothingnessXIII 20:27, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

I never said it was, nor do I intend for it to be. Just because there are those users in that category doesn't mean I can't work well with other people; you need to read between the lines and stop generalizing. If this is a problem, then why not get rid of the Userbox system altogether? maggosh 22:32, August 26, 2010 (UTC)

I think I'll just make this clear before this turns into a problem. Wikia, to a certain extent, isn't a social networking site. A userpage is about telling another user who they are working with, and how they are working in the project. I've seen categories and userboxes created in this vein and it has to stop.

I agree with trois. I only created that category because I saw a few others and thought that was the norm for those Userboxes. Removing the categories sounds like the perfect alternative. maggosh 16:14, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

No. If you want to socialize, friend a user etc, facebook, myspace, friendster and whatever social networking sites out there is yours to abuse. And you can always link to your social network profile in your userpage, provided you know the risks. This wiki isn't made for that, and especially the userpage.

The "Humorous" boxes can stay, they're relevant to our wiki subject, more or less. ^BLUER一番 16:24, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
