Personally, I would get CoM or Re:CoM. It really does tie the stories together and although people have said you skip it, you are skipping out of a lot of things happening.}}

{{JFHavoc|normal=You ''could'' skip it, but at the beginning of KH2 you'd have a ''few'' questions about some things I can't say or they'd be spoilers. It isn't necessary in my opinion but, I still think you should play it. Get Re:CoM if you don't have a GBA. I played Re:CoM and I liked it '''a lot''' more than the normal CoM. Conclusion: Play Chain of Memories.}}

Alright, everyone. Thanks alot for your opinions. You have convinced me. :)
I live in Denmark. Which is probably why I can't find it in any regular store here. Anyway, I'm looking through various second-hand sites and shops (I don't want to buy a new one, as I'd have to order it from a site outside my country), hoping to find a copy. I'll stop bumping this now, and hopefully I'll find the game soon enough. See you later! ^^

Meh, ill skip it for sure.  I read what I wanted to read on the wikia; and whatever I wanted to learn more about, Youtube was the answer.  In particular, I always liked watching sora interact with the riku replica, and how the riku replica hurt sora's heart by saying cruel(but not always false) statements to him.  I also read up on how Larxene "Kicked sora twice; on the second time, he could barely stand.", and wondering if Sora had been kicked in the groin the second time by her, watched a Youtube video, only to realize that it was just a powerful kick and not necessarily a well-aimed kick-to-a-sensitive-guy-spot.

P.S.:There ARE ways to play the KH games on your PC but most of these ways are complicated.  All require a insanely powerful computer.  Some may even be illegal.  Best advice: Buy the game.  The game developer could use some money anyways so he can fund KHIII.--[[User:Pkthis|Pkthis]] 04:29, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

Logo for The Realm of Sleep Forum Archives. I decided to go KH3D and go for a slight magenta/pink accent.

I'm thinking of playing Kingdom Hearts, and researched a bit. There's the two main games, KH and KHII, right? And before, there's Birth by Sleep, inbetween there's Chain of Memories and such.

Now I was wondering if I could just get the two main ones, and skip Chain of Memories (as I don't have, nor want to buy a DS just for one game), eventually getting Birth by Sleep (I do have a PSP). Or would I miss too much of the story?

maggosh Strike backwards... "That's a nice expression."

You're terrified, aren't you?

I'ono...CoM DOES tie the two games together.

And you do know CoM is for GBA, right?

HeartofOblivion Talk to me! — There was something important... Oh yes! I've decided on the pancakes. Blueberry!

Keyblade-Blk.png Yeah CoM is for the GBA and 358/2 Days is for the DS. You could buy Re:Chain of Memories which is for the PS2 but it depends on where you live.

Personally, I would get CoM or Re:CoM. It really does tie the stories together and although people have said you can just skip it, you are skipping out of a lot of things happening.
