Improve it by adding what you know about the following issues.

The Drop System is a feature used in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the player to switch between Sora and Riku and obtain bonus prizes in the process. The player will automatically drop when the Drop Gauge runs out. The player can also drop manually by using the "Drop" button that appears on the World Map, in the main menu, or in the pause menu.

Mechanics

Drop Gauge

While on the field, the Drop Gauge, located on the lower-right of the screen, will deplete continually over time. The Drop Gauge has three bars. It is majorly a gradient of indigo-to-teal-to-blue with an underlining gradient of pink-to-cream. The gauge's second bar is colored green, and its third is bright pink. The Drop Gauge also has a multiplier, which represents the speed in which the gauge depletes. Certain enemy attacks will cause negative Status Effects that will increase the speed the Gauge decreases, meaning Sora or Riku will drop faster. The player can restore the gauge and reset the drop rate by using items like Drop-Me-Not and Drop-Me-Never.

Droplets

When the player defeats Dream Eaters, they can drop Droplets, special prizes that awards the player Drop Points (DP). Those can be later used in Relay Bonuses while droping between charaters to redeem various prizes. Droplets can also be awarded by completing Link Portals.

Bonus Time

Sora during Bonus Time. You can see the Drop Gauge flashing and the countdown number on it.

Once the last bar of the Drop Gauge empties, it will leave an empty grey bar behind with a pink timer that counts down from thirty seconds, warning that the player has entered "Bonus Time". More Droplets will appear during this period. Once Bonus Time ends, the player will automatically drop into the next character.

If the player drops during a boss battle, when it change back to the character he was playing, it will start from the beginning of the battle, and the boss HP will be restored.

Relay Bonus

When Bonus Time ends, Sora or Riku will float in place, and the player will enter in the Relay Bonus screen. On it, the player can spend collected Drop Points (DP) to pick bonuses for the next character. Bonuses include temporary boosts in attack strength, new abilities, items, or a loss of speed at which the Gauge dissipates.
