The Save the King shield has been Goofy's ultimate weapon throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, however the method of obtaining it differs from game to game. Donald has a similarly named weapon, the Save the Queen.

Strength 9 Magic 0. The recipe for this item can be obtained from the Ship Graveyard in Port Royal. It has the ability Item Boost. To Synthesize this item, you will need 1 Orichalcum, 3 Twilight Crystals, 5 Twilight Gems, 7 Twilight Stones, and 9 Twilight Shards. There is another variant, Save the King+. To obtain this, you must synthesize Save the King one time. After doing this, you will have to synthesize it a second time and add on 1 Serenity Crystal. Save the King+ has the ability MP Rage. The Final Mix+ version of the Save the King+ features a different color scheme, black and red in place of the blue and gold of the standard Save the King.
