Dark Impulse (ダークインパルス Dāku Inparusu?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. It allows Riku to knock foes into the air before slamming them down to the ground, damaging multiple enemies.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories, Dark Impulse is a Duel Sleight that can be used by Riku. He begin the attack with shooting a dark energy ball towards the enemy, in the same fashion as he uses Dark Firaga, knocking it to the air, then rushing forward and jumping up to it doing a downward slash with the Soul Eater until he hits the ground, slamming the enemy and unleashing a large shockwave that damages all nearby enemies upon impact.

Learning Impulse

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories

  • Riku can use Impulse after defeating Ansem for the first time and gaining access to Dark Mode.
    • Riku has to win a Card Duel in which he has to break three cards of his enemy.
