The '''Star Shard''' is an artifact originally belonging to [[Yen Sid]], but was given to [[Mickey Mouse]] during his apprenticeship. The Star Shard transports the user, and anyone in physical contact with the user, to a different [[Universe of Kingdom Hearts#Worlds|World]]. However, the World they are taken to is random, as well as the time the Star Shard is activated.

The Star Shard is an artifact originally belonging to Yen Sid, but was given to Mickey Mouse during his apprenticeship. The Star Shard transports the user, and anyone in physical contact with the user, to a different World. However, the World they are taken to is seemingly random, as well as the time the Star Shard is activated. The artifact moves the user to wherever destiny requires them to be at that time, whether they're aware of the overlying cause or not.
