After Ansem, Xemnas, Dark Riku, and Vanitas vanished back into their respective pasts, Master Xehanort retreated to the Keyblade Graveyard with [[Saïx]] and Xigbar; Terra-Xehanort and [[Demyx]] were left on stand by, [[Luxord]] went looking for the Black Box, and [[Marluxia]] and [[Larxene]] went looking for the New Seven Hearts.

After reminiscing about his meeting with the Master of Masters, Xehanort discusses with Xigbar and Saïx how they would fill the second half of their new Organization. Saïx explains that they would turn [[Vexen]] back into a Nobody to refine the replicas for housing the time traveling hearts, and recreate the lost replica [[Xion|No i]] to take Sora's place, as it is connected to the Sora's memories~~. Once all the seven guardians have been found they travel to the Keyblade Graveyard where Xehanort waits. He appears alongside Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, and his younger self, giving a similar speech to the one he gave Eraqus many years ago. The group summons a massive horde of Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed to stall the guardians before departing.
