The shark (サメ same) is the great white shark from the Atlantica world. It first appeared in Disney's The Little Mermaid.
The shark is normally found swimming around the sunken ship area of Kingdom Hearts. It is considered an enemy at first, as you can escape fighting it, but later it has to be defeated to enter Ursula's lair. It is quite annoying as it attacks randomly, and can do a great deal of damage.
The shark has only 200 HP, which is 100 away from a full health bar, so it is relatively easy to defeat. It is more of a burden enemy than a real threat.
His seemingly random appearances are much like Sabor's, from Deep Jungle.
He is one of only few characters who do not have entries in Jiminy's Journal (the others being Chernabog and Anti-Sora).
