:::Soooo... the Japanese and English names are both different, and the color and element are the same? I would say split, and call it a quote-unquote "successor" to "Bright".  --<span style="font-size:10pt">[[User:Neumannz|'''<span style="font-size=12pt; font-family:Gisha; color:#005400">Neumannz</span>''']], [[User talk:Neumannz|''<span style="color:black; font-family:Agency FB Bold">The Dark Falcon</span>'']]</span> 01:06, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

Cure

The translation is a bit iffy, since I can't seem to find a dictionary entry for it, but "光かがやく" (something like "shining") is replacing "Bright" as the Cure-elemental material in 358/2 Days. It may in fact end up being a more literal translation for "Bright", as opposed to the actual name of "Moist".Glorious CHAOS! 22:05, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Yep, 光輝く means "light-shining", a close synonym of "bright". Okay, new problem:
Like Spirit/Gale, the elemental affinity of "MoistBright" has been given to "BrightBright", and like Power/Energy, two differently named materials are pretty much going to have the same english name. However, unlike those two, The "BrightBright" has completely replaced "MoistBright", as MoistBright does not appear at all in Days, and BrightBright does not appear anywhere else. Basically, while we have separate pages for different material types with facets of this problem, the Bright materials have all the facets, seemingly indicating that the Japanese name has been "corrected". Given these circumstances, do we want the "BrightBright" material info to be merged with the "MoistBright" material info when we can get more info on Days? Even though it's slightly irregular, I would personally say that in this case it would be the most appropriate thing to do.Glorious CHAOS! 22:05, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
