Ventus-Vanitas, as his name suggests, is the merged form of Ventus and Vanitas. He is physically identical to Vanitas regarding the body, using his battle stance, and Ventus regarding the face, minus Vanitas's golden eyes. He initially wears Ventus's [[Keyblade Armor]] upon his creation, but replaces it with Vanitas's bodysuit after Vanitas reveals himself to be in control.

In the opening of ''[[Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-]]'', Ventus-Vanitas originally retained Ventus's blue eyes, while also possessing the silver frame of Vanitas's mask. This was patched in version 1.02 so that he looks closer to how he does in ''Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep''.
