When the [[Raging Vulture]] begins its assault on the ''[[Black Pearl]]'' alongside a swarm of Vaporflies, [[Sora]] uses a Vaporfly's smoke to catch up to it and mount it in order to fight the Raging Vulture. Upon the Raging Vulture's defeat, all the Vaporflies disappear, causing Sora to plummet into the water when the one he was mounting disappears.

==Design==
The Vaporfly resembles a flying bug-like creature. Its body is largely round and metallic, and it has several metallic cones on the sides of its face and one as its proboscis. It has several spots of rust along its body, with one on its back and one on its face, with its wings also being rusty in texture. It also has two antennae, a pair of hook-like feet, and an anchor-like tail.

==Strategy==
The Vaporfly mostly attacks in a straight line, so its attacks can be evaded by dodging in another direction. In the Raging Vulture fight, they can be mounted and used to fire shots, launch torpedoes, and perform an aerial dodge. When their '''Magic Missile''' attack is used, they will emit a colored smoke which can be used to rail slide on.
