The story ends with Ursula's defeat and [[Ariel]] revealing her true identity to [[Prince Eric]]. As a reward, Sora receives the [[Mysterious Abyss]] Keyblade.

==Trivia==
*In the English version, despite Ursula clearly calling Ariel a mermaid, Eric seems unaware of this fact until after the song ends. In the Japanese version, she instead refers to Ariel by name, but never mentions that the latter is a mermaid.
**Additionally, Eric sees Ariel as a mermaid when he attacks Ursula before the song, so his surprise after the song would not make sense regardless.
