==Design==
Untitled Writings is a fair bit wider than Zexion's other lexicons (to reach a wide area), and the cover has an arrowhead-like shape. The cover is black with white edges and a fleur de lys pattern sprouting from the tip. Two white lines coming inward from the spine of the book curve slightly at the tips. The spine of this lexicon sports two khaki-colored arrowhead-shapes.

A {{wikt|writing}} is any document, book, or similar work written by an author. A title is the name of such a work, and lacking a title indicates that it is incomplete. In grammar, a sentence fragment is a sentence that does not have a subject or predicate, making it incomplete.

==Gameplay==
The Untitled Writing's ground combo begins with Zexion placing the lexicon on the ground, slamming it closed on enemies, followed by a leftward/rightward swipe. At this point, a spear-like weapon extends from the lexicon's pages, slashing from top right to bottom left, then from top left to bottom right, back from bottom right to top left, then a final thrust forward as the finisher. If {{button|dsy}} is pressed while pressing a directional button, the illusion spear appears from the lexicon, spinning clockwise twice over Zexion as he ducks.

The Untitled Writing's aerial combo is incredibly short, consisting solely of a slash from the bottom left to top right and a spinning forward throw.

When Untitled Writing contacts an enemy, a green star burst and yellow semicircles appear.
