Disney[edit]

The journal literally says "the original Baymax", and all the marketing for this world described the enemy as being the character from the movie. It's not a separate entity, like Xemnas and Ansem, it is a brainwashed version of an existing character."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:12, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

I said unique entity, not separate entity. He isn't simply brainwashed, he also possesses new abilities, a new look, and a new name -- as such, he could be considered different enough to be distinguished from the original Baymax. This article is meant for Dark Baymax. If this was an article for the original Baymax prior to his dark transformation, then I would list Big Hero 6 as the origin, but this is meant for post-transformation Baymax, and to list Dark Baymax's origins as the film seems disingenuous to me. If the journal doesn't list Dark Baymax's origins as Big Hero 6, then I don't think this wiki should. We have separates articles for Anti-Aqua and Riku-Ansem, but we don't list either's origins to be Birth by Sleep and KH1, we list them to be KH3 and KH2 respectively. Would you guys PLEASE stop fighting about this? This "Original vs. Disney" debate is getting out of control! CleffaGirl173 (talk) 14:01, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
The wiki does not distinguish between entities like that. Terra-Xehanort and Apprentice Xehanort are treated as the same entity, because they are compositionally the same. By all rights, there shouldn't even be an article for Dark Baymax, there should be a redirect to Baymax 1.0. This is a matter of existing precedent and policy.
Anti-Aqua is not just Aqua. She is Aqua with a piece of Xehanort in her (per Famitsu interviews). Riku-Ansem is not just Riku. It is Riku with a piece of Ansem in him, where the Ansem portion is the primary."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:13, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
I'm actually with Kryten on this. CleffaGirl173 (talk) 14:34, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
By that logic, Dark Baymax SHOULD have its own page, shouldn't it? Dark Baymax is not just the original Baymax. It is Baymax with the combat chip with Darkube data (which is the equivalent of a heart for Baymax) and fused with the Darkubes. TheSilentHero 14:56, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
Under that logic, sure. Not the new look/name/abilities thing, though."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:14, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
