But, are we really sure that Xigbar knew where it was the whole time? All we know is that, by the end of the Keyblade War, he had it. Maybe he found it between the events of the Caribbean and the Keyblade War? Lady Junky (talk) 08:13, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

The answer is that Xehanort knew of it for some reason, but didn't know that Xigbar was the one who had it the whole time and Xigbar (AKA Luxu) didn't want to give it to him because doing so would interfere with the Master of Masters' plans.

Considering that Xehanort is dead now, it seems like shit writing to just have him "know of it for some reason and want it for some reason" that will never be fulfilled, but okay.
