The '''Stroke of Midnight''' is a [[Keychain]] for [[Earthshaker|Terra's]], [[Wayward Wind|Ventus's]], [[Rainfell|Aqua's]], and [[Starlight|Player's Keyblades]] that appears in ''[[Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep]]'' and ''[[Kingdom Hearts Union χ]]''.

==Design==
The Stroke of Midnight's appearance varies depending on the upgrade, most of which are seen in ''Kingdom Hearts Union χ''. Its appearance mostly resembles the castle tiers seen on the Castle of Dreams.

The default Stroke of Midnight has a beige color scheme. Its guard is circular and resembles [[Cinderella]]'s carriage, with cyan wheels at the base of the guard. The handle and the inside of the guard is a dull brown, and there are three towers on the base of the blade. The blade is a thin shaft, ending with a tower, and the teeth are a small, cyan snowflake. The Keychain is beige, with the token being a beige version of Cinderella's slipper.

The first upgrade, also seen in ''Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep'', has a whiter color scheme. The teeth are violet and cyan. The handle and inner edge of the guard are polished gold. The [[Keychain]] has three white links that connect to the token, one of Cinderella's glass slippers.

The second upgrade features a cobalt color scheme for the guard and blade. The handle and the inside of the guard are now golden, while the wheels are also lavender. Two of the towers on the guard are now taller and feature miniature flags. There are two snowflakes, both lavender and violet, on the blade, as well as sparkles. The Keychain features a golden hook, with the links and slipper cobalt.

The third upgrade cloaks the Keyblade in a lavender aura with pink sparkles and lens flares.

The Stroke of Midnight's English name references the exact time when the Fairy Godmother's magic would wear off for Cinderella. The Japanese name, "Crystal Works," alludes to the crystalline appearance of some sections of the Keyblade, as well as Cinderella's glass slippers.
