The rope is an item in Kingdom Hearts that Sora must gather for the trio's raft.
Story
While Sora is on Destiny Islands, he is sent by Kairi to gather various materials the group's raft needs. One of said materials is the rope. The rope can be found on the far West side of the island, on a wooden platform shortly pass the dock.
After handing Kairi the rope and other requested materials, Sora is rewarded with a Hi-Potion.
