Of course, clean and official images like those would be fine, and can be put in the regular wikispace to boot.  Those clean mobile sprites would go quite well in that new Mobile gallery being worked on, for example.

On one hand, I love cleaning up sprites and making my own stuff (e.g. my Daisy Sprite).

On the other hand, that approaches dangerously close to Fanart territory, which we pretty expressly forbid. Most of seem pretty good about keeping it to modifications of official art or using those things for their avatar/talk bubbles, but I can see someone getting really carried away and flooding the wiki with unused or poor mods. I know I've already gotten a few questions about the talk bubble sprites that aren't being used right now, and if they're okay to put on the wiki since they're not technically official images. To be fair, my sprite clean-ups would also count as "unofficial", as I had no un-sampled images to pull from, and I had to use my best judgment to fill in the covered bits. They're probably close enough, but there are a couple I'm sure aren't 100% accurate.

Of course, clean and official images like those would be fine, and can be put in the regular wikispace to boot. Those clean mobile sprites would go quite well in that new Mobile gallery being worked on, for example.

Just my thoughts. I'm open to arguments, comments, or ideas like creating a new webspace for the mods, etc. Input appreciated here. ^_^
