"Stock Technique"}} is a type of special technique in ''[[Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories]]'' and ''[[Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories]]'', activated by certain combinations of two or three {{c|Cards|com}}. Sleights are used by [[Sora]], [[Riku]], bosses that use a deck, and [[Marluxia]]'s Third Form. Sora may learn sleights through [[level]]ing up, progressing through the story, obtaining certain cards, or opening [[treasure chest]]s, while Riku gains all of his sleights early in his story. Each sleight has certain requirements to be activated, and most require all three stockable cards to be a certain type or value. Some sleights only require two cards; these Sleights will activate if the stocked cards don't fulfill any three-card Sleight, and can be activated with only two cards if desired by "stocking" the reload card instead of one in the player's deck, or by pressing {{button|l1}} and {{button|r1}} simultaneously in ''Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories''. As sleights are activated through a combination of stocked cards, the first card in the sleight will disappear from the player's deck unless certain [[enemy card]]s are activated, but they can be recovered with high-level [[item card]]s.

Sora's sleights are divided into "Attack", "Magic", "Summon", and "Friend" sleights, which are categorized based on the cards they use. ''Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories'' also introduces two sleights unique to the [[Bumble-Rumble]] mini-game. Riku's sleights are divided into "Attack", "Friend", and "Duel" sleights.

Unlike other sleight types, "Duel Sleights" can only be used by activating a Card Duel, and can include up to seven cards. A Card Duel is activated by playing the same value card against any enemy, or playing any card with the [[Duel Trigger]] ability active, and pressing {{button|t}} within the time frame while Riku has at least 8 reloadable cards in his deck. If Riku wins the duel, the Duel Sleight used depends on the amount of cards used in that duel, which in turn depends on the enemy.

Since the first card in a stocked combo is removed from the player's deck when the combo is used, unless said card is the only basic card left in the deck, the player can quickly be reduced to a few weak cards if they abuse combos without arranging them into efficient sleights. It is advised to build multiple layers of sleights into a deck, ensuring that cards may be used in multiple sleights, even after initial sleights remove cards from the deck. In ''Re: Chain of Memories'', the first few frames of a Sleight once activated grant Sora/Riku some super armor frames against possible incoming attacks that are not interrupted on time, still damaging them while not preventing their sleight from activating.

In ''Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories'', Friend and Summon sleights do not have "Lv2" or "Lv3" as part of their names. Sleights in general across both games, cannot be activated in midair and have the user drop to the ground with all aerial momentum halted to execute them.

The term "sleight" may come from "{{w|sleight of hand}}", a skill commonly associated with card tricks.
