In ''Kingdom Hearts Final Mix'', Slapshot is a [[combat ability]] that costs 1 {{AP}} to equip. It allows [[Sora]] to perform a wide uppercut slash instead of his default, slower thrust when near an opponent, and has a chance of dealing a [[Critical Hit]]. When [[Combo Master]] is equipped, it is possible to skip over Slapshot without the attack even landing due to the fast transitions between attacks.

In ''Kingdom Hearts II'', Slapshot is an [[action ability]] that costs 2 AP to equip. It allows Sora to perform a quick uppercut slash when near an opponent, doing slightly more damage than a regular strike and preventing him from getting flung back if he is blocked or parried. Although physical defenses such as a [[Large Body]]'s front do not block the attack, Slapshot cannot directly break guards. In ''[[Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix]]'', Sora connects his combo attacks more easily when performing Slapshot.
