Simba is a lion-hearted, yet occasionally low self-esteemed ruler. He knows of his duty to rule the Pride Lands, but his fear of failure and disrespect often causes him to not do as well as he can. He is shown to be reliant, always wishing he knew what his father would do in times of crisis, seldom thinking for himself. Simba doesn't have his priorities straight, and has constantly looked to do the right thing, but he says he fails of living up to his father at all times. In short, Simba is an affectionate, brave and good friend, who has looked to do the right thing all the time.
