Ruination has a vague cross-shape and the handle, the tip of the blade, and two protrusions from the middle of the blade are hollow diamonds of varying length and size, all of which are connected by a thin cross. The tip of the blade is connected to the two side blades as well. Ruination is indigo colored with silver edges and, like [[Triumph]], has a pale glow.
Ruination is an ethereal blade identical to [[Terminus]] in every way save for its color. Upon striking targets, the blades create a circular, yellow-green impact effect with a yellow diamond-shaped flash. Combo finishers create a larger effect with a yellow four-pointed diamond-like shape. It is striking similar to the hilts of [[Xehanort]]'s ethereal blades.

==Gameplay==
Ruination shares its attack combos with Triumph. For the ground combo, Xemnas whirls forward, slashing with both hands and ending with a right thrust, thrusts with his left blade, which extends a long distance, thrusts with the right hand, thrusts again with his left, and then again with his right, and finishes by launching three blades forward at once, in a spread pattern with knockback.

For the aerial combo, Xemnas raises his blades and throws them down in a line in front of him (continue attacking to extend this attack), raises them again and throws them down in four concentrated spots, in a diamond pattern with knockback.
