==Design==
The Red Hot Chili is a small creature resembling a red pot. Its lid is black with a small, conical, red spike on it. The base of the pot is also black, with two short spikes on it. It has a short, red, lightning-bolt shaped "wing" on either side of its body. Its large, red eyes take up most of the front of its body and are set in a happy expression. The Unversed emblem is on its back.

In ''[[Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix]]'', the Red Hot Chili's main body becomes dark grey, its base and lid become orange, and the rim of its top becomes khaki-colored.

Like the [[Blue Sea Salt]] and [[Yellow Mustard]], the Red Hot Chili is named after a color and a {{w|chili pepper|food}}, but its name could also possibly be a pun on the "{{w|Red Hot Chili Peppers}}", an American funk rock band.

==Strategy==
The Red Hot Chili has a similar fighting style to the [[Red Nocturne]]. It attacks players by spitting fireballs and ramming them. Spiral Attack and Fire are both telegraphed by the Unversed shaking and making a noise, giving the player a cue to block and counter either attack. Fire can be sent back to the enemies when blocked. They have rather low HP, and players can use aerial attacks or [[Blizzard]] magic to kill them. Blizzard-based [[Command Style]]s such as {{c|Diamond Dust|ability}} or [[Frozen Fortune]] work wonders against this enemy.
