The '''Pot Centipede''' is an [[Emblem Heartless]] introduced in ''{{c|Kingdom Hearts|game}}''. It is one of the bosses at [[Agrabah]]. The Pot Centipede is made up of a collection of [[Pot Spider]]s linked to a head and stinger.

==Story==

After stealing the magic lamp to cancel out [[Aladdin]]'s second wish, [[Jasmine]] falls into a pot, which turns into a [[Pot Spider]]. [[Jafar]] secretly sends Jasmine to the [[Cave of Wonders]], before unleashing the head and rear of the Pot Centipede to take command of the other Pot Spiders in [[Agrabah]]. The two parts are immobile without Pot Spiders. Once they attach, it can move. The Pot Spiders are positioned as legs between the head and the rear. Its rear antennae are electrical and can zap [[Sora]].

==Design==
The Pot Centipede's main body is comprised of several [[Pot Spider]]s with two legs each, as opposed to the normal four. Its rear end is blue and sports two short, dark blue "tails". Its head is round, blue, slightly squashed, and sports glowing yellow eyes, two twisted antennae between its eyes, two black-tipped mandibles, and a Heartless emblem on its forehead.

The Pot Centipede's name reflects its appearance, which resembles a real-world {{w|centipede}} with its segmented body comprised of Pot Spiders.

==Strategy==
The battle with the Pot Centipede takes place in "[[Agrabah]]", a special room combining each part of the city into one large arena.

The main targets in this battle are the head and tail of the Centipede. However, before taking on the actual boss, it would be wise to dispatch all the Pot Spiders first. Attack the Pot Spiders that comprise the Centipede's body, and use {{Button|t}} to send the two other party members into the fray. As the Pot Spiders are destroyed, more will appear to take their place until none are left. At this point, the head and tail will rampage through the streets of Agrabah, knocking down the piles of crates. More Pot Spiders will appear and reform the body. Destroy these as well, and pick up the HP prizes they drop. The only threat here is the whipping attack of the tail, and electrical whipping of the head's antennae. However, since Sora will be focusing on the body, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just be mindful of how close Sora is to the head and tail, and don't get complacent. The Pot Centipede may not have a large range of attacks, but they are brutal.

Eventually, no more Pot Spiders will appear, and this is the cue to attack the main enemy. Send the two others to take on the head of the centipede while Sora takes on the tail. The constituents will continue to use the techniques listed above, but no longer have the mobility they once did. This enables Sora to make a quick escape if necessary to recover.
