A red marking between the Mandrake's eyes resembles a mouth. The Mandrake's most prominent feature is the three white, leaflike blades atop its head. These blades end in pale green, arrowhead-like tips.

Otherwise, one risks being poisoned. One can be confused if a Mandrake's Panic Attack makes contact, but if it is successfully blocked, the Unversed will be left open to damage from [[Counter Hammer]], [[Counter Rush]], or [[Counter Blast]].
