Light Form turns Sora's clothes white and grey. The kanji for "light" (光) is visible on his pants and hood.

The name refers to Sora using the power of light and the kanji symbolizing light on the design.

In ''Kingdom Hearts III'', Light Form is the first Formchange of the Oathkeeper Keyblade. Its fighting style allows Sora to harness the power of light. With the exceptions of Black Hole in place of Dark Break and the lack of Dark Syphon, Light Form's mechanics are identical to [[Dark Form]]. Light Form's attacks utilize cross-shaped {{w|Halo_(optical_phenomenon)|halos}} as well as gold, white, and pale green particle effects to symbolize the light element, in addition to summoning angelic feathers to evoke Oathkeeper. Filling the situation gauge while in Light Form allows Sora to Formchange into [[Double Form OKP]].

Light Form excels in single target encounters and boasts fast paced attacks that can build up Situation Commands faster than the Formchange's gauge can deplete. Unlike other barrier guards, [[Light Guard]] allows Sora to follow up [[Light Burst]] with [[Final Blow]] should the enemy be knocked back. Unlike [[Dark Form]], Light Form benefits the most from a high magic stat with its final ground combo finisher [[Black Hole]] since the Oathkeeper itself has a balance between strength and magic whereas [[Oblivion]] favors strength.
