==Appearance==

Light Form turns Sora's clothes are a mix of white and grey, with his jacket dominated by white and his pants and shirt mostly grey. Additional elements such as his pockets are black. The kanji for "light" (光) is visible on his outfit: in white on his legs, and in black on his hood.

Light Form alters Sora's appearance in other worlds:

* In his [[Toy Box]] form, the color scheme of his regular outfit is inverted: his jacket turns grey while his trousers and inner shirt turn out. Additionally, Sora displays black sleeves and white shoulder cuffs, and blocks on his outfit form black-to-silver checker patterns (replacing the kanji for "light").

* In his [[Monstropolis]] form, his jacket takes the appearance of his regular outfit's Light Form (with the kanji remaining on the back of his hood). His fur turns gray with white stripes, and his hair turns blonde.

* In his [[The Caribbean]] form, Sora's bandanna turns white; his waistcoat and cuffs turn grey. His coattail turns white with four, large black kanji for "light" at the bottom. Additionally, his hat displays two copies of Kairi's lucky charm.

The name refers to Sora using the power of light and the kanji symbolizing light on the design.

==Mechanics==

In ''Kingdom Hearts III'', Light Form is the first Formchange of the Oathkeeper Keyblade. Its fighting style allows Sora to harness the power of light. With the exceptions of Black Hole in place of Dark Break and the lack of Dark Syphon, Light Form's mechanics are identical to [[Dark Form]]. Light Form's attacks utilize cross-shaped {{w|Halo_(optical_phenomenon)|halos}} as well as gold, white, and pale green particle effects to symbolize the light element, in addition to summoning angelic feathers to evoke Oathkeeper. Filling the situation gauge while in Light Form allows Sora to Formchange into [[Double Form OKP]].

While the Formchange is active in combat, Sora will always use [[Sonic Dodge]] on the ground, even when no evasive ability such as [[Dodge Roll]] is equipped. Outside of combat, Sonic Dodge will always replace [[Dodge Roll]] as long as Sora has not dismissed his weapon, and can only be used if the latter ability is equipped.

==Strategy==

Light Form excels in single target encounters and boasts fast paced attacks that can build up Situation Commands faster than the Formchange's gauge can deplete. Unlike other barrier guards, [[Light Guard]] allows Sora to follow up [[Light Burst]] with [[Final Blow]] should the enemy be knocked back. Unlike [[Dark Form]], Light Form benefits the most from a high magic stat with its final ground combo finisher [[Black Hole]] since the Oathkeeper itself has a balance between strength and magic whereas [[Oblivion]] favors strength.
