{{BebopKate|text=Alrighty...so just plot information.  I can certainly get behind that.  The six month was a rule I borrowed from a forum I frequent, but if everyone thinks that excessive, again, that's fine by me.  Just remember not everyone here can or will be able to get hold of the game right away, and we want to give a fair chance for them to play without ruining it for them.  Also, remember not everyone comes to the wiki pages through the front page; a fair number of visitors come from off-wiki links and search engines, and so may not be aware what they're getting into.

The strikes are not for those who want to add info to the wiki, it's to keep people from abusing it.  I can easily see (and have seen, actually) people posting unmarked plot spoilers in articles or threads just to be nasty, kind of like that whole "Snape Kills Dumbledore" thing from a few years back.  The way I see it, most people who are actually editing to help may not be aware of the new policies; a polite warning will let them know what's going on and that will be the end of it.  I seriously doubt it will come to strikes with anyone, but I'd rather have a policy here and now rather than have to throw something together should someone decide to be a prat.  Since we're rephrasing other things, I'll work on rephrasing that as well.

== Two weeks ==

{{Falcos|mask=Correct me if I'm wrong, but: 4. ''All spoiler tags must remain in place until two weeks after the end of the last regional release date.'' It's been two weeks. Why are my edits being reverted? I'm just following what's on the page.}}
{{SC|text=You're correct. It's being taken care of, Falcos, we did the right thing. I guess not many people know about this page :/}}

{{ErryTalk|zexiontext=But it also does say "''As of now, it is likely that the European release will be last, and so tags will remain two weeks after the games come to our European editors.''" So on Oct. 4th it will be the correct time to remove them.}}
{{Falcos|mask=I live in a PAL region, meaning I get it at the same time as Europe. I got it September 9th.}}

{{ErryTalk|zexiontext=Oh snap. XD I misread the dates and thought it was the 20th. Okay in that case it is time to remove the spoiler policy bars.}}
{{SC|text=>_>}}

== Re:Coded ==

{{Falcos|mask=Can a spoiler policy for Re:Coded go up, please?}}
{{Maggosh|YMX=Why? coded was released a year ago.}}
{{17m|text= Well, yeah, but most of us can't play it. I do't think anyone here has ever played it.}}
{{Falcos|mask=Coded was released a year ago, yes. But people who can't import games and/or read japanese couldn't play it. Because Re:Coded isn't released here until next year. And because I would prefer to remain unspoiled until I have a chance to play it for myself. Surely I'm not the only one.}}
{{17m|text= yeah, I didn't even noticed I read the spoilers}}
{{Falcos|mask=So, Spoiler tags. Yes/no?}}
{{SC|time=17:41, October 17, 2010 (UTC)|text=I'm gonna go with yes. Why? Well...

Taken straight from the SiteNotice ->''Plot information from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded should still be placed in the Kingdom Hearts coded section of an article''. This means that it's spoilers, and the two can be counted as one game.

The Spoiler Policy states that the policy goes for 2 weeks after the latest release. Since I just established Re:Coded as the same game as coded, and Re doesn't get released in the U.S into ''March'', the Spoiler Policy should be implemented until 2 weeks after it's March release.}}

{{Falcos|think=Okay, but A, PAL regioners (Like me) will probably get it later then you, and B, the Re:Coded page has the release date as before March. So, yeah. But okay, let's move on: How would I go about getting it put up on the SiteNotice? Who should I contact? (I know, I'm new here.)}}

== Spoiler duration ==

{{TheSilentHero|time=15:00, 19 December 2018 (UTC)|roy=The spoiler policy currently says that spoiler tags should stay up until 2 weeks after the release. But by the looks of it, Kingdom Hearts III is going to be a very big game, bigger than the previous ones, so it'll take people longer to finish the story.

A couple of months ago, a SQEX representative said:

"Kingdom Hearts 3 is around 40-50 hours if you stay on the critical path.

"Including the mini-games, players can expect 80+ hours of content."

This hasn't been officially confirmed, but it can be used as an estimate. Now, unless you're playing a lot, you're not going to reach 80 hours, or even 50 in two weeks. So I think we should keep the spoiler tags up for at least one month, maybe two, to give people the opportunity to finish the story themselves without getting spoiled here.}}

I'm in favor. Spoiler tags up until March 1st 2019. {{User:Chainoffire/sig}} 20:23, 19 December 2018 (UTC)
:As long as its just tags and not full censorship or removal of data, I'm on board.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 20:43, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

== Re Mind Spoilers ==

It's been more than two weeks since Re Mind released for Xbox. Anyone against removing the spoiler tags? {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 18:25, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
I'm good either way. --[[User:Yellowlightning1996|Yellowlightning1996]] ([[User talk:Yellowlightning1996|talk]]) 18:56, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
