==Design==
The Goliath's blade is very large and roughly triangular in shape, with a large, triangular gap in its center, causing it to resemble a large letter "A". It is predominantly gold in color, with red-orange edges. The counterweight is rather large, and is the same gold color as the blade, with red-orange stripes on its corners.

Goliath shares its shape with [[Harbinger]].

In Judeo-Christian mythology, Goliath was a Philistine giant who was slain by King David when he still a boy. Because of this, the word "goliath" has become a word that refers to any person or thing of giant size. "Herculean Strength" refers to the Greek hero Hercules, and his incredible strength.

==Gameplay==
The Goliath's normal ground combo starts with a one-handed upward diagonal slash and ends with a powerful, two-handed downward slash. The {{button|dsy}} combo can be activated after the first upward slash, and consists of another one-handed upward slash, followed by a leap and a powerful, two-handed downward slam.

The Goliath's aerial combo consists of a two-handed upward slash followed by a powerful, two-handed downward slam.
