What do people think about reformatting D-Link pages into tables like these? TheFifteenthMember 17:46, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

I like the idea -- makes pages a lot more visually appealing. What do the rest of us think? TRSNX 17:51, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
It looks good. One thing, though: I think the Ability icons would look better in the Ability column, as they are the icons of the abilities. TheSilentHero 18:27, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Like that or would your prefer the icons and text not have separate columns? The columns may need to be rearranged too; for example, it might make sense to have the Finish Command column last but that's mostly arbitrary. TheFifteenthMember 18:52, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
I'd prefer the table to be much thinner (standardized across articles), and the commands to be on separate lines (either rows or just br). Also, Level and Ability images in same column as the text."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:24, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
I think it would look something like this: (Also added Kryten's changes)
Level Command Deck Finish Command Abilities
DL Sprite Ventus Icon 1 KHBBS.png Level 0 Quick Blitz
Strike Raid
Aero
Finish
DL Sprite Ventus Icon 1 KHBBS.png Level 1 Quick Blitz
Strike Raid
Sliding Dash
Aero
Finish DL Sprite Ventus Ability 1 KHBBS.pngHaste
DL Sprite Ventus Icon 2 KHBBS.png Level 2 Blitz
Strike Raid
Sliding Dash
Blitz
Freeze Raid
Sliding Dash
Aerora
Cura
Air Dive DL Sprite Ventus Ability 1 KHBBS.png Haste
DL Sprite Ventus Ability 2 KHBBS.png Auto-Counter
I split the Level 2 commands in two columns, because putting them all in one column makes the row too long. TheSilentHero 08:50, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Two columns is fine, but if we give the column enough room to not word-wrap, it looks pretty ok to me:
Level Command Deck Finish Command Abilities

Quick Blitz
Strike Raid
Aero

Also, we need to make sure we add standardized column widths to this (10%, 25%, whatever) so that the table will appear the same over all articles. In addition, the table should probably be thinner, centered, and with text centered in the level and finish columns, though probably not command deck and abilities."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:21, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

What is the standard table format? I've seen many different types across the wiki so I wasn't aware we had a format. TheFifteenthMember 17:16, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
The standard formats are those used on Attack cards and Avatar Menu -- the Attack cards style for stuff, like this, which includes full-prose text descriptions and gameplay mechanics, while the Avatar Menu style for stuff that is high-density, stats-only information, like the Avatar pieces or a Dream Eater's commands by disposition. This usage would best fit with the Attack cards format, as has been done above. As far as standardizing the column widths, the column widths can be standardized to only D-Link articles, but it's going to look best if, for example, the command column is the same width on each D-Link article."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Is that okay? TheFifteenthMember 17:44, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
I fiddled with the widths a bit, but that's okay, yeah."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:47, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Gameplay + Exclusive commands sections[edit]

Is the gameplay section supposed to explain what situations in which the D-Link would be useful? Also, what's the purpose of the exclusive commands section now? Now that abilities need their own articles, they don't need to be merged onto the D-Link pages any more. Should the exclusive command section just list the commands now? TheFifteenthMember 19:34, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Once they've received their own articles, the section can be removed entirely."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:55, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
