KrytenKoro - "It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." TALK - Should we cite technique descriptions to games when used in the lead or mechanics section? We already have the command list articles for most of these, but there's been a few times where I was unsure whether something was a rephrased description of the technique, or something that belonged in the caption/mechanics section instead. Also, do we have any preferences for technique description leads? Should they describe the attack in line with the official description, or let that be done by the caption and mechanics?

We all win that way. — TheFifteenthMember 20:48, 27 May 2015 (UTC) I'm not sure what you're specifically asking but the technique description in the lead should do what leads are for - sum up the entire article. If the technique is only in one game, a rephrase of the official description should be okay. However, if it has been in multiple games and varies significantly between them, we should write our own generalised description (see Faith). Also, I'm not a fan of depending on captions too much since we don't even have images for most technique articles. I think their role should be limited to non-essential information. Lastly, we don't need to quote the entire description because as you said, they're on the command lists already.
