I've seen a lot of Kingdom hearts forums and well, a lot of people seem outraged that Alice was ever included as a princess of heart and I honestly can't see why. I know she isn't classed as a Disney Princess but they were all about being pure and untainted and I'm pretty sure Maleficent says in KH1 around Neverland about them being maidens and not princesses...which shows that it has nothing to do with their social status etc. and I think Alice is a perfect representation of innocence and purity and is a lot more fitting in this role than characters such as Mulan and Ariel who go against people's will and clearly hold a little darkness. So yeah, I really can't see why the majority of people seem to hate the idea of Alice chosen to be a princess of heart. Well, if you notice, Belle is eventually married to a Prince, as is Cinderella and Snow White (well, SW is a princess by birth but was dethroned by the Queen). With the case of Jasmine and Aurora, they are princesses by birth. Leaving Alice and Kairi as Princesses out of pure hearts, so I guess you could say its a balance between the characters 3 to-be princesses, 3 already-princesses and 2 pure-hearted girls. Ariel and Mulan aren't princesses but instead party members/story characters. I would think it was a development choice rather than a story-ridden choice but it could also be because they wanted a "innocent" and "pure"-looking princess. Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png Where is the Facebook "Like" button when you need it...? Seriously, I agree with what CCH0705 says. While I'm among those who don't understand why Alice of all the people was chosen, his arguments make sense, and sound reasonable. I agree, people don't have to hate her. It's random, it is, to choose Alice, who just stands out as not an actual princess, but like you said, other characters like Ariel and Mulan do seem to possess some darkness Diamond Dust Keychain KHFM.png

Why thank you so much for backing me up, I'm glad I made sense XD I do agree though that the choice of using Alice is rather random but I would imagine that was largely due to the fact that she was a child which yet again makes her look like a harmless, sweet and undoubtedly innocent child. Also I didn't really mention it the first time but people said she should have been replaced with Ariel. Again not only does she clearly hold darkness by defying people and coming to agreements with Ursula when she probably knows she putting herself at risk but she could easily defeat the heartless and captors as it's demonstrated within the game, the same applies for Mulan which seemed to be another popular choice and there are many more reasons why Ariel and Mulan aren't pure of heart but I think I've said enough >.< CCH0705 (talk) 12:53, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
