[[Kairi]] is looking for [[Sora]] to help get ready to sail the next day. Sora is in the [[Secret Place]], reminiscing about how he showed to place to Kairi, and draws on the wall. Suddenly, he hears a voice behind him, coming from a [[Robed Figure]], saying things that don't make sense to Sora. When Kairi finds Sora in the Secret Place, the Robed Figure has disappeared, and Sora, [[Riku]], and Kairi return home.

When Sora is packing his bag in his room, he sees a storm outside. He heads back to the island to check on the raft, and notices Riku and Kairi's boats. A bunch of [[Shadow]]s appear behind him as he runs towards Riku. As he approaches Riku, darkness appears beneath Riku's feet.
