In ''Kingdom Hearts III'', Critical Counter is a {{c|support ability|kh3}} exclusive to [[Critical Mode]] that costs 5 AP to equip. It activates when the user blocks an attack right before it connects, signified by a special sound and the user briefly glowing red.

During the 1st fight against the Demon Tower, since Riku always uses [[Barrier]] together with Mickey, Critical Counter takes effect on both characters.
