Chaos materials are colored cyan with a purple outline. It contains black smoke, and a pink and white swirl in the center. A Chaos Crystal consists of a center that is composed of three oval shapes fused together, with a large curving spike and smaller crescent-shaped attachment on three sides.
A Chaos Crystal is represented by a jewel with a [[List of Synthesis Materials|Modifier material]] structure. It is a meld of cyan and violet, with black, white, and pink smoky designs swirling around its center.  


The material's name may refer to its use in attaching a random ability.
The name "Chaos" reflects the material's random nature, as well as the chaotic swirls of color in its Crystal.
