The '''Blaze of Glory''' is a pair of [[Chakram]]s that can be wielded by [[Axel]] in ''[[Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days]]''. It can be upgraded to '''Blaze of Glory+''' and '''Blaze of Glory++'''.

==Design==
A Blaze of Glory Chakram's main wheel is split into two equal halves, both of which are black with a red line through the center. The two halves are connected by the silver handle, which is cross-shaped. Each half has four black spikes with red edges and the same arrowhead-like design as the spikes on the Nobody logo. All of these spikes slant in the same direction. 

The phrase, "to go out in a blaze of glory", refers to dying in an awe-inspiring or flashy way. Axel meets his destruction in ''Kingdom Hearts II'' in such a manner; both literally, by erupting into an immense ball of fire, and figuratively, by killing himself in order to wipe out the Dusks that were about to overwhelm Sora.

==Gameplay==
The Blaze of Glory Chakrams are great weapons for long ground combos and swift attacks. The ground combo is very long and its finisher can be executed after any attack by using a {{button|dsy}}-Combo. Axel first will strike upwards with his right chakram as he rushes forward. If he does not use the {{button|dsy}}-Combo, the combo will continue with downward strike from the right chakram, which in turn can be followed with an upward strike again from the right chakram as Axel jumps forward. These last two attacks alternate until either a {{button|dsy}}-Combo is used or the finisher is triggered, which happens after the fifth blow for the normal and plus version of the weapon and after the sixth for the double plus version. In either case, Axel will swing his chakrams upward in an uppercut-like fashion as he himself jumps straight up into the air. The aerial combo is much shorter. Axel executes an upward slash with the right chakram, a downward slash with the left, and then throws his chakrams around himself in a circle.
