Those goggles and hats that the Aeroplane pilots wear.... they're not specifically British. Every faction that fought in WWII wore them; in fact, ''every fighter pilot'' wore them. Now the design of the aircraft, to him at least, suggests it's more inspired by a Russian build, than an actual Spitfire (if that's what everyone's thinking). The paint especially. Some might say the paint job looks like a Spitty's, but it's much more muted, and a Spitty's nose is rounder. | Now the design of the aircraft, to him at least, suggests it's more inspired by a Russian build, than an actual Spitfire (if that's what everyone's thinking). It's just me nitpicking here, but just saying: the point I'm trying to drive home is that the design and the flight helmet usage ''do not suggest'' that it is a British thing. It's a cartoonish depiction of many features of aircraft from decades past, coming together. So if anyone wants to come and correct me for not saying it's a British thing, or modifying the description....... well, you've got this block of text to take into account.}} | It's just me nitpicking here, but just saying: the point I'm trying to drive home is that the design and the flight helmet usage ''do not suggest'' that it is a British thing.
