Simple and Clean is the song played during the credits of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, written by Utada Hikaru. A remixed version of it is played in the opening AMV of Kingdom Hearts. Both the original and the remix have Japanese versions, also written and sung by Utada Hikaru, however, sporting different lyrics.

The melody of the refrain of "Simple and Clean" is borrowed from another of Utada's Japanese songs. In addition, the theme of the song is very different in the English version. A PLANITb remix of "Simple and Clean" was used for the North American release of Kingdom Hearts.
