Shimmer (紫電 Shiden) is one of Xaldin's weapons in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to Shimmer+.
Design
A Shimmer lance's shaft is silver in the center and indigo on the ends, with the two colors separated by small, khaki-colored rings. The lower blade is a dark cross-shape similar to the top half of the Nobdy symbol. It also sports a purple, curved blade on the lower half of the cross, with short, lilac spikes lining it. The upper blade is dark at its base and khaki-colored at the top, and forks into a "Y" shape. Two large, violet, semi-circular side blades connect to the two points of the main blade, and each one is lined by four lilac spikes of varying length.
The name "Shimmer" may reference the shimmering of stars, following the constellation-based naming pattern of many of Xaldin's lances.
