:It's indicated that it has something to do with Xemnas sampling Sora's memories and creating Xion, since even though Sora released many hearts in KH, the new Kingdom Hearts doesn't "become" until Roxas collects a relatively paltry amount of hearts. It's a good question to get them to ask Nomura, though. Or, with the original Kingdom Hearts sealed and the End of the World destroyed, Xemnas could influence where the new Kingdom Hearts appeared. Maybe we played right into Xehanort's hands in KH1. So, every heart that Sora releases with the keyblade, it somehow magically wanders over to the Kingdom Hearts that Xemnas was creating? Because if Xemnas is able to do that, wouldn't everyone else (such as Maleficent for example) be able to use Sora to do the same thing and create an artificial Kingdom Hearts for themselves?
