The Drop System is a feature used in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the player to switch between Sora and Riku and obtain bonus prizes in the process.
Mechanics
As Sora or Riku progresses through the game, the Drop Gauge, located on the lower-right of the screen, will eventually deplete over time. Once the Drop Gauge is empty, it will count down, warning the player that it is almost time to switch. When the countdown is completed Sora or Riku will float in place.
