The Wheel Master (ホイールマスター Hoīru Masutā) is a large, mechanical Unversed. This boss is located in the Enchanted Dominion, a world based on Sleeping Beauty. The Wheel Master may have a connection to Sleeping Beauty's plot, since the Wheel Master is a spinning wheel and spinning wheels were a physical object and symbol in the movie. This Unversed appears to somewhat resemble a large, twisted spinning wheel, although its color and more basic designs have associated it with the Trickmaster Heartless.
The Wheel Master was the only boss available for battle in Terra's demo at the DKΣ3713 event in Japan; at this event, the Wheel Master was also the first Unversed boss to be shown to the public. Terra's battle with the Wheel Master proved evidence that even the Boss Battles in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep are fast-paced.
Appearance
The Wheel Master is a large, mechanical Unversed that vaguely resembles a spinning wheel used for sewing. Its right arm has a spool, and its left arm has a large wheel. Its face its black with red eyes. The Unversed emblem is near lower body. It stands on 3 legs.
Abilities
The Wheel Master uses its wheel and spool to attack opponents. It uses the spool to trap enemies in thread. It also attacks by spinning, hitting enemies with its wheel, and it may throw its wheel at opponents. It also attacks by charging and body slamming.
Strategy
Similar to the battle with the Guard Armor Heartless, you must deplete the Wheel Master's limbs' HP before the Unversed falls in defeat. At the start of this battle, immediately Lock-On to either the Wheel Master itself, its dagger-like spindle, or its spinning wheel-like arm. Begin attacking, yet keep in mind that you must do all in your power to dodge this massive Unversed's attacks.
Shortly after you start your assault, the Wheel Master shoots a beam from the tip of its spool of thread, trapping Terra. It is at that point that you must rapidly press to free him, or face the consequences. Another attack in this boss's arsenal involves it spinning its limbs from side to side, dealing damage to those foolish enough to come in contact with them. When the Wheel Master begins to glow, it will start to occasionally leap around, creating a massive shockwave upon landing. It may also rush around the throne room, dealing impact damage while it shines with reddish-gold energy.
After depleting this Unversed's multiple HP Bars using this strategy, it should fall in defeat rather easily.
