Subspecies and variants

Could we organize this into a table specifying which are the default bosses, and which are their subspecies/event variants?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:29, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure how this would look like so I tabbed them for the time being. The Purple Gummi Hound uses one attack animation (and replaced the Subspecies) of the Behemoth during the 1st Anniversary event but looks extremly different, the same goes for the Lion Dance Headliner which even became an Emblem. Both the Fierce Queen Bee and its Subspecies only appear during the event, so this is a new development. The different colored Trident Anchors didn't appear during a specific event but during some campaigns and replaced the normal Raid Boss, not the Subspecies. Defining what an event is, is a hard task on its own since they are all very different and Square Enix doesn't use consitent terminology. --ShardofTruth 17:10, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
I'm kinda thinking a three/four column table: Base, Subspecies, and then Base/Subspecies Event replacements, with the Event column listing the events that replace the boss. Do the base Raid Bosses cycle in a coherent order?
Can you describe the events and the Trident Anchor campaign? I'm very confused by this."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:38, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
How's this? TheSilentHero 17:36, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
If I've understood Shard correctly, the Venom Spider is a Subspecies, while the Fierce Queen Bee and Sub are both Event bosses. I'm thinking a full table might be better for keeping the images clearly organized, as well. Overall, though, that's about what I was thinking."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." The Venom Spider looks like a subspecies, but for some reason, isn't called one. For the Queen Bees, we can just put a note below the name specifying the event it appears in. (Which we should do for all Event bosses). The reason I used the gallery tags is so the images are the same size. TheSilentHero 17:53, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
The Venom Spider takes the place of the subspecies for the Vicious Spider and that's not event related in any way. Don't ask me why it's the only named one though. --ShardofTruth 18:13, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Is there any way we can incorporate info on which bosses appear in events, or is that being left to the individual species pages to communicate?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:42, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Bump, plus an open request to list (somewhere) the items that Unchained claims each boss drops, and to clean up the Unchained section to use the official terms and more formal write-up."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:50, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
