In a way, it almost replaces the [[Jungle King]] from ''[[Kingdom Hearts (game)|Kingdom Hearts]]'', except the Circle of Life is much stronger at its point in the game it is obtained than that of the Jungle King.

This Keyblade also appears in the ''[[Birth by sleep (Video)|Birth by sleep]]'' secret video, along with being in the game ''[[Birth by Sleep]]'', as one of the ten base keyblades that are in the [[Keyblade Graveyard]], though there are some minor changes. The lion's head is gone from the rain guard, the gaurd is flipped so that the opening is upwards, and the upmost spike on the teeth of the blade now points up rather than down, and it now has an additional spike on the blade opposite the side of the teeth.
