Quasimodo overhears the conversation and offers the pendant Esmeralda gave him in order to find her.

When Sora comes to, he sees that everyone is gone and Sora hurries to the square. There, Sora watches as an unconscious Esmeralda is already being burned. Quasimodo swings in on a rope, sweeping Esmeralda to safety. Enraged, Frollo pursues Quasimodo, leaving Sora to battle the [[Wargoyle]].
