Symphony of Sorcery: Difference between revisions

While carrying buckets of water in the tower, Mickey spots Yen Sid's sorcerer's hat on his desk. Making sure that no one was around, he puts it on and begins casting magic, unknowingly summoning [[Spellican|a Dream Eater]]. As Sora arrives, he witness Mickey casting magic spells, bringing in a few waves, shooting starts, thunderclouds and the Dream Eater Mickey accidentally summoned, which then attacks Sora and knocks him out cold.

When Sora reawakens, he recognizes that he is in what appears to be [[The Mysterious Tower|Yen Sid's tower]]. However, since a sleeping Mickey, who is covered in darkness, does not recognized him, Sora guesses that he was in another dream world, of the days when Mickey was training to become a Keyblade master. Communicating telepathically with Sora, Mickey explains that a musical book has been possesed by darkness through a monster, trapping Mickey in the book and preventing anyone from entering, and the only way to defeat the darkness is to retrieve a Sound Idea. Accepting Sora's offer to help Mickey, the latter summons another book that Sora then enters the unpossessed book with a beam of light from his Keyblade.

Making his way through the magical realm within the book, Sora soon finds the Sound Idea in the Pastoral Symphony area, but was then confronted by [[Xehanort|the unknown man]], who explains that he will be waiting for Sora in [[The World That Never Was|an area beyond sleep]]. Sora returns to the tower and Mickey tries using the Sound Idea on the possessed book. When it failed, Mickey concludes that one Sound Idea was not enough to rid the darkness from it. Sora reassures him, saying that he has a friend out there that was helping him and "picking up his slack". As Sora closes his eyes, another Sound Idea appears, allowing Sora to use them to create a powerful song that enhances its power to destroy the darkness in the book, although Mickey was yet recovered. Now being able to enter the book, Sora goes in and fights Spellican in the Sorcerer's Apprentice area, freeing Mickey and allowing him to wake up. With his spirit back in his body, Mickey thanks Sora with a friendly handshake. Leaving to fetch the water before he gets into trouble, Mickey runs to the door, but not before bidding Sora farewell and that he will see him soon, to which the latter agrees to. After a Keyhole appears, Sora seals it and continues on his way.
