He explains it was set in stone that Brain would escape the destruction of [[Daybreak Town]] and arrive at Scala ad Caelum on that day, where Sigurd's group would be to meet him, and that Brain is the only one of the Daybreak Town survivors to arrive in the current era. As Sigurd escorts Brain to his headquarters, they pass a fountain plaza with a statue of [[Ephemer]], who Sigurd explains to be the [[Keyblade Master]] who founded Scala ad Caelum.

Whilst not physically appearing in the reveal trailer, his voice served as the narrator, explaining to someone (implied to be Sora) that should he be unhappy with Quadratum, he may leave it for another world. However, he also adds that Sora shouldn’t expect returning to the realm of reality.
