Can't you get a more comprehensible name ?

I know most of you would end up calling me trois because it's just too cumbersome to go with the whole sequence of Troissdjisjvejjddhifragh. Fine. I understand. It leaves everyone tongue-tied, shall we say ?

Well, actually, it's a combination of trois + nyx + etienne. Trois is French for three, Nyx is a girl's name, and it's something gotta do with night (or, in other words, darkness), and Etienne is the French equivalent of Stephen (I do look up to St Stephen the martyr). Coined this username in my mid-teens and I guess I'll never give it up for the rest of my life - because the darkness still hasn't passed me by. It's still...... here.

If you see troisnyxetienne or its shortened forms, 3NyxEtienne or troisnyx* anywhere on the Net (or even in real life, for that matter), yes, you know that's me.

Why of all games, Kingdom Hearts ?

I was practically bored of all the junk my cousin got me in 2002. Then in late 2002 he gave me something which caught my eye - Kingdom Hearts. The very fact that it was from Disney (and Squaresoft) compelled me to play. And it was more than love at first sight : it has now become an addiction. I've assembled practically every single Kingdom Hearts game available in shelves (except for Re : Chain of Memories in English, which isn't available in Malaysia yet).

Then Sora came into the picture.

Sora is one character I can identify with - heroic (well, I'm not), emotional, somewhat immature, unintentionally shows disrespect towards people of position, but is ever willing to go all out for his friends. He's been in my spotlight from the very first time I laid my hands on a Kingdom Hearts game disc. They say we're losers if we base our personalities on anime/video game characters, and I suppose I'm not far from being one...... ^^

Okay, I know this sounds irritating, but why is it that you are so into contributing to theories ? Enough of them already !

Simple. Firstly, it's nice to speculate. Secondly, it's even nicer to find evidence. It makes me remember in-game theories, you see ?

When I was writing the part about Terra's, Aqua's and Ven's origins in their respective talk pages, I did it with a lot of enthusiasm. Of course, because I had to be in the know of what I wrote, I made a lot of references to Xehanort's and Ansem's reports. By contributing to theories, not only will I be in touch with the fun (and the speculation) of Birth By Sleep, I also won't lose touch with the game !

Other characteristics

I'm introverted, and I spend quite a lot of time alone, either in deep reflection, or thinking about new ideas for lots of artsy stuff. I love the arts, and you could compare me to Demyx in a way. I'm a real-life Bard and Blue Mage - in the sense that I love playing music and singing, and I have a tendency of remembering other people's study tactics/quotes/arguments and using these things against them. And whatever I do, I want to use it in my role of making peace with everyone.

I can be compassionate, but at the same time I'm the kind of person you wouldn't want to mess with. I know my facts and I do my homework, which makes me a connoisseur when it comes to the game. I have a quick and sharp tongue, which could either be my strength or my weakness - but more often than not, it's my strength, so you've been warned. (What the hell, I'm gonna be a lawyer, after all !)

Sometimes it's hard for me to get what people are saying, and so I have a tendency to ask them to slow down (or even write in simple English). If you happen to be in that group of people, omigosh, I'm really sorry - I owe you big time.

Just so you'd know why I sometimes don't reply messages until a long while after : my time zone is GMT+8. I'm all the way in Malaysia. And chances are that if you do send me a message, it could be in the wee hours of the morning (while I curl up in bed). So, don't fret - I'll reply you once I'm online.

Inside Kingdom Hearts

• Protagonist: Riku. Enough said. Those of you who played Reverse/Rebirth in Re : Chain should know.
• Antagonist: Larxene
• Keyblades: Ultima Weapon and Fenrir.
• AI party member: Riku
• Drive Form: Final Form. I mean, it should be obvious by now.
• Worlds: Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden and Beast's Castle. HB is jam-packed with new areas and Organization XIII data battles that I can go on for hours. And the Beast's Castle ? French-style fun !
• Soundtrack: Treasured Memories from Kingdom Hearts - the soundtrack that plays while Sora is drawing himself handing over a paopu fruit to Kairi. The same song is played during the restoration of Sora's memories. At the same level I place Graceful Assassin - the theme played while fighting Marluxia for the first time in Re : Chain.
• Side quest: Chasm of Challenges and Mushroom #5 in Agrabah. Both of them helped me to level up all drives and summons (with the exception of Final Form) within just two hours !
• Gummi route: Asteroid Sweep. Practically the easiest gummi route I know (although even if it's that easy, it makes my thumbs fall off !) and I actually got S+4 for Mission 3 once.
• Organization XIII member: Axel, for his redeeming factors.
• Final Fantasy character: Cloud
• Disney character: Belle. She kicks ass !
• Heartless: White Mushroom (in Re : Chain, I can get all the Premium Bonuses I want from them !).
• Nobody: Samurai
• FMV: Sanctuary, the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II

Outside Kingdom Hearts

• Ice-cream flavours: Chocolate, vanilla, sea-salt
• Drink: Plain water
• Colours: Red, yellow, silver, sky blue
• Artistes/bands: Alizée, Mylène Farmer, Zazie, Coldplay, Enya, Moby, and to a certain extent – Utada Hikaru, Evanescence and Ayumi Hamasaki

• Protagonist: (Okay, to be honest, I don't dislike any protagonist.)
• Antagonist: Hades. I loathe Hades so much that I get to kick his ass a million and one times, and that's actually what led me to write the strategy for Hades (Enemy) !
• Keyblade: Hidden Dragon (Re : Chain)
• AI party member: Donald. Not to say that I actually dislike him ; I like him the least. In KH he keeps on casting magic until he loses all his MP and has no more items left !
• Drive Forms: Valor Form and Anti-Form. Sora's attacks in Valor Form are just tooooooooo sloooooooowwwwwwww....... and I hate Anti-Form because I can hardly do anything with it.
• World: Monstro (KH), with its intertwining chambers. Ugh !
• Soundtrack: A Fight to the Death - the battle theme with the first Armoured Xemnas. I prefer his other battle themes.
• Side quests: Pooh's Muddy Path (KH) - bloody hassle. Also, Assault of the Dreadnought (Mission 3) - I never seem to get through that one, even after obtaining Rank B and a new lease of gummi "life" - I always die.
• Gummi route: Assault of the Dreadnought, Mission 3.
• Organization XIII member: Xaldin
• Final Fantasy character: Rai
• Disney character: Oogie Boogie
• Heartless: Reckless (from Final Mix+)
• Nobody: Beserker
• Voiceovers: Vincent Corazza (Zexion) and whoever's voicing Mickey for Re : Chain of Memories. Both of them sound so wrong !
