This rare item will only drop if the player defeats a Black Fungus with a [[Critical Hit|critical hit]], however this can prove to be quite difficult due to the continuous waves of attacks directed by the Black Fungus. But either that or an ability can usually lead to a successful drop.
This drop also consists of a [[Mystery Goo]] and large amounts of munny of assorted sizes.

The Mystery Mold is an item obtained from Black Fungus' in Kingdom Hearts. It has no purpose except bragging rights, though it can be resold for 9999 Munny. It can only be obtained by defeating a Black Fungus with a Critical Hit.
