Mystery Mold is an item obtained when a player "correctly" defeats a Black Fungus. It has no use, but it can be sold for 9999 munny.
This rare item will only drop if the player defeats a Black Fungus with a critical hit, however this can prove to be quite difficult due to the continuous waves of attacks directed by the Black Fungus. But either that or an ability can usually lead to a successful drop.
This drop also consists of a Mystery Goo and large amounts of munny of assorted sizes.
